Namita was born in Pune, Maharashtra, India to parents Satish Mehta (founder of Emcure Pharmaceuticals) and Bhavana Mehta (who always inspired Namita by showing her women entrepreneur pictures). She is now 47 years old. Moreover, she has a brother named Samit Mehta (President of R&D at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited).
